Here at Macgiriaght Spaniels we have been involved in shooting and field sports for over three decades. Frank lived in Canada until the age of 18, when he moved to Scotland . He now lives in south Suffolk. Frank was an avid shooter until 1992 when he bought his first  Spaniel. Frank was so impressed by the loyalty, stamina and intelligence of this loving, yet hard-working breed that he soon began the process of building up a line of award-winning spaniels. Frank so enjoyed the thrill of shooting over spaniels that the act of shooting became secondary to training and working his dogs, and he is now a confirmed 'spaniel-nut!'.

Frank is an experienced dog handler and trainer.  He rough-shoots over his dogs in England and Scotland. Frank has judged  Field Trials and Gun Dog Working Tests.  Our spaniels have all competed in gun dog working tests and field trials.  We have won numerous awards in all these categories and at all levels.

We have experience in Clumbers, Cockers and English Springer Spaniels having won competitions in all three breeds.

It is the loyal, friendly and obedient nature of these dogs that makes a Spaniel such a superb family pet as well as a top working dog.
