A spaniel is a working dog that needs appropriate training and a great deal of exercise. We produce only one or two litters of first-class puppies from award-winning lines per year, as our bitches work throughout the shooting season and need to be kept in supreme physical condition. We breed to improve the breed and to cover our expenses. Dogs of this quality are hard to come by and we consider all of them as remaining part of the Macgiriaght family. For these reasons, we can afford to be very selective as to who we allow to purchase our puppies and trained dogs. Frank Geraghty reserves the absolute right to refuse a dog or puppy to anyone who he feels will not make a good owner, whether the dog is being brought as a family pet or a working dog. We operate a priority system on our puppies, field trialers take priority, followed by shooters/hunters and lastly people who wish to purchase our puppies as pets.

Our breeding bitches are all proven workers having won Field Trials and Gundog Working Tests.

We have the Top Working Clumber Spaniel bitch in the UK. Flintwood Snowflake Macgiriaght is the only bitch in living memory to have won two field trials. She has also won an Open Gundog Working Test. She has outstanding hip scores (3/4) and tight eyes. Her build is slim and is well muscled, with no fat. She has already produced fantastic pups that are coming on nicely as shooting dogs and as Field trialers.

In 2008 we are planning the First Clumber litter in many years with the dam and sire both being Field Trial Winners.  

We have Clumbers, Cockers and English Springer Spaniels. Puppies can be pre-booked on receipt of a 50% deposit. All our breeding bitches come from Field Trial lines, they all have very impressive pedigrees with numerous field trial champions and winners as relatives.

We are a small dedicated kennel, but we are not a full time one, we have "real jobs". We take great care with our breeding and only breed to cover our costs, to give us a pup for future competion and to better our lines and the breed. 

We believe in only using the top blood lines for breeding and we have a large cross section of all the winning, working lines. Our bloodlines feature Bucclleuch,Rytex, Birdrowe, Cressett, Gwengraig, Cortman, Parkmaple, Badgercourt, Stagsden, Maesydderwen, Wernffrwd, Gwibernant, Larford, Kigaro Sherzando and Sedgehurst.

All our puppies are supplied fully wormed, and come with sixteen weeks free Comprehensive Insurance.
